We're thrilled to showcase the interior transformation of this home in Washington, DC — including a brand-new, full ADA-compliant bathroom!

Below is a brief overview of the work involved. Our team handled every aspect with precision:

🔹 Making architectural drawings and obtaining building, plumbing, and electrical permits.

🔹 Scheduling and meeting with inspectors.

🔹 Assisting with design choices, measuring, ordering, and delivering interior finishing materials, including tub, vanity, vanity top, medicine cabinet, fixtures, tiles, hardwood flooring, interior doors, and hardware.

🔹 Demolishing the existing bathroom next to the kitchen and the interior walls being removed, disposing of all debris.

🔹 Framing a new office and hallway.

🔹 Framing an enlarged bedroom, a full ADA-compliant bathroom between the kitchen and bedroom.

🔹 Framing closets in the new master bedroom, mudroom, enlarged bedroom, and bathroom.

🔹 Rerouting and roughing in plumbing piping, electrical wiring, and HVAC ducts for the new layout, including relocating the exterior water spigot.

🔹 Installing, finishing, and priming drywall throughout the additions and affected areas.

🔹 Building the ADA-compliant bathroom with a low-threshold transfer shower, tile backer boards, tiled floor and shower/tub walls, tub, toilet, vanity, vanity top, medicine cabinet, vanity light, grab bars, shower seat, exhaust fan, and linen closet.

🔹 Installing interior doors — swinging doors, a pocket door at the office, and bi-fold doors at the master closet.

🔹 Removing old hardwood and installing new unfinished oak flooring in the additions, enlarged bedroom, office, and hallways, finished to match the existing floors.

🔹 Installing porcelain tile in the mudroom and bathroom, with grout sealed.

🔹 Installing closet shelves and rods, plus mudroom storage shelving.

🔹 Installing ceiling lights, switches, and outlets to Code.

🔹 Installing baseboards and door casings with plinth blocks.

🔹 Installing HVAC registers in the new and reconfigured rooms.

🔹 Painting walls, ceilings, trim, and doors throughout.

🔹 Periodically removing debris and thoroughly cleaning the job site.
